Do I need experience to do this?

No. Most Charmed students start with zero jewelry experience. The welder is simple to learn, the training walks you through every step, and you practice on included chain before you ever touch a customer. Live support is there when you get stuck.

What is included in a training kit?

Everything you need to learn and launch: a gas-free arc welder, protective eyewear, pliers, cutters and tools, practice supplies, 21 feet of chain in gold-filled, sterling silver and colored options, step-by-step video training, detailed reference handbook, business templates and live support. Nothing else to hunt down.

How long until I can take paying customers?

That depends on your practice time, not a fixed schedule. The training itself is self-paced, and most students who practice consistently are booking their first customers within a couple of weeks of their kit arriving.

How much can I charge?

Most artists charge roughly $75 to $110 per bracelet depending on chain choice and local market, with necklaces and anklets priced higher and charms added on. We teach pricing in your training, and our free guide, The Business Math of Permanent Jewelry, shows the real cost and margin per piece.

How do I find customers?

This is where Charmed is different: we teach customer acquisition as part of your training. If you already work in beauty, your first customers are likely sitting in your chair. If you are starting fresh, we show you how to launch through parties, pop-ups, events and social media, with templates included.

I own a salon or beauty business. Does this fit?

Permanent jewelry is one of the most natural add-on services in beauty: no gas, minimal space, quick appointments and strong margins with clients who already trust you. Your training includes how to fold it into an existing service menu.

What support do I get after training?

Charmed does not disappear after checkout. You get live support while you learn, business education as you launch, and curated chains, charms and supplies to keep you stocked as you grow.

What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a dainty chain custom-fitted to your wrist, neck or ankle and closed with a tiny weld instead of a clasp. The process is quick, painless and safe. It's your new forever jewelry that you'll never lose. Totally seamless, quick, fun and a totally painless process!

Our chains are Gold-filled jewelry and won’t tarnish, fade or flake. Gold-filled is a great alternative to solid gold and helps you achieve a similar look and wear for a lower price.

How long does a permanent bracelet last?

Once the bracelet is welded on, it's permanently attached to the wearer's wrist. The gold used for these bracelets is durable and can last a lifetime. They are TSA approved! The bracelets can be easily removed with scissors if need be. They would need to be removed for something like an MRI.

*Please note permanent does not mean invincible! While it is designed for everyday wear, it is still fine jewelry.

What if my bracelet breaks or falls off?

We will ensure your jewelry is secure before you leave! However, we understand that life and accidents happen!

If your jewelry happens to break or fall off within two weeks from your appointment bring the chain in with you and we will repair it for free! After the two week mark, bring your chain in and we will repair it for a $25 welding fee

Is the mirco-welding safe?

Yes, it is completely safe! We put a layer of protection between your wrist and the chain while micro-welding to be extra safe, but it is pain free!

Are the chains real gold?

Yes, however, there are many different types of gold. Although everyone loves solid gold for its excellent quality, not everyone can afford jewelry made entirely from solid gold.

Jewelers came up with gold plated, gold filled and gold vermeil to reduce the gold content and make it more affordable without compromising on the look or quality that make gold so desirable.

Gold filled jewelry is created by bonding a thick layer of actual gold to another metal, usually brass or copper. The gold content is legally required in the US to be at least 5% of the total weight. If it is less than 5%, the terms “rolled gold plate” and “gold overlay” may legally be used in some contexts, but not gold-filled.

As the gold layer is thick, gold-filled jewelry won’t tarnish, fade or flake. People with sensitive skin should have no problems wearing this.
